Treasurer Maria Pappas headlines her own 30-minute segment radio show on WVON/1690-AM starting today, taking calls from listeners about property taxes, Politico reports.

The show, called "Black Houses Matter," will air at 3:30 p.m. Mondays for six weeks with the possibility of being extended. "Whenever I am a guest on WVON, there is always a flood of calls," Pappas said in a statement to Playbook. "This is a unique opportunity to help African American homeowners."

Joining Pappas will be Michael A. Lee, who leads customer service for the Treasurer's Office.
