Pappas delays annual delinquent property tax sale amid pandemic

Daily Line

Treasurer Maria Pappas obtained a court order to delay the county's annual tax sale for delinquent properties until further notice, she announced on Tuesday.

This is an atomic war with no bomb," Pappas told Daily Line. "I'm in uncharted territory, and I had to do what I thought was right today."
