Treasurer Maria Pappas tells homeowners what they need to do to avoid the Cook County Annual Tax Sale, which begins May 3, 2019, during an interview with Roe Conn on WGN/720-AM.

Pappas urges residents to use cookcountytreasurer.com to make sure that any senior citizens they know are not on the Tax Sale list. “You can check out your grandmother, your aunt, your uncle, anyone at all,” she said.

Conn praises Pappas’ outreach efforts, saying: “I know a lot of public officials. I know very, very few who are as dedicated, resourceful and as good at administering their offices as you are.”
