Nearly 30,000 Cook County Homeowners to Get $8.3 Million in Automatic Property Tax Refunds
Cook County Treasurer's Office - 12/31/2018

The Cook County Treasurer's Office is sending a total of $8.3 million in property tax refunds to nearly 30,000 homeowners who overpaid since 2013, anchor Karen Jordan reports.

The homeowners who qualify will automatically get the refund thanks to new technology, Treasurer Maria Pappas says.
