More Than 85,000 Cook County Homeowners Prepay Property Taxes, In-Person Payments to Be Accepted Over the Weekend

Treasurer Maria Pappas announces that her office will be open on New Year’s Eve. Meanwhile, most of the prepayments are being made at cookcountytreasurer.com, WLS-TV reported. “This is like online shopping,” Pappas said. “It’s an online tax bill.”
