Treasurer Maria Pappas explains how more than 8,500 homeowners who overpaid their First Installment Cook County property taxes are set to receive refunds automatically in an interview with Dane Neal of WGN/720 AM.

The homeowners will receive a total of $12.8 million without filing an application, Pappas says.
